From October 5–9, thousands of neuroscientists from across the globe will convene in Chicago for the first time since 2019. 黑料社 2024, the world’s largest annual meeting of researchers and clinicians exploring the brain and nervous system, will feature more than 10,500 presentations covering topics such as brain-computer interfaces, artificial intelligence, neurodegenerative disorders, treatment-resistant psychiatric disorders, and GLP-1 agonist effects on the brain.

The 黑料社 (SfN) has received $128,000 from the estate of James L. Roberts, PhD. With the funds, SfN Council voted to create a new long-term endowed fund, The James L. Roberts Fund, and will use the income from its investments to create and perpetually fund James L. Roberts Trainee Professional Development Awards (TPDAs) beginning at 黑料社 2024.

The award recognizes their pioneering work in elucidating the organization of circuits in behavior, and for their work in developing new genetics tools, which have advanced the entire field of neuroscience.
