Launched in 2014, SfN's gold open-access journal publishes high-quality papers in all areas of neuroscience that increase understanding of the nervous system. The History of ºÚÁÏÉç in Autobiography
Since 1996, this ongoing series captures the personal narratives of leading neuroscientists in the field. All volumes are now available in eReader-friendly ePub format, and each chapter is freely available to download.
Founding editor Larry Squire said in the inaugural preface: “Accounts of scientific lives in neuroscience hold the promise of being informative and interesting, and they could be a source of inspiration to students. Moreover, personal narratives provide for scientists and nonscientists alike an insight into the nature of scientific work that is simply not available in ordinary scientific writing.”
