Global and Online Programs
Foundations and philanthropists collaborate with SfN on a wide range of initiatives to support professional development, training, and public education and outreach. For example:
- The Dana Foundation provided $150,000 to support the Leadership Development Program.
- The Kavli Foundation, the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, the Wellcome Trust, the Stanley Center, and Lundbeck Foundation have provided funding totaling more than $2.6 million in philanthropic support to fund .
- The Grass Foundation provided $525,000 to support the Latin America Training Program.
- The Esther A. and Joseph Klingenstein Foundation provided an $180,000 grant to support the Engaging the Public in Animals in Research project.
