January 30	Extended deadline for submission of symposium, minisymposium, Dual Perspectives, Storytelling, Basic-Translational-Clinical Roundtables, SfN-Sponsored Socials, and Professional Development Workshops proposals by 5 p.m. ET
May 31	Online abstract submission opens
June 15	Extended deadline for abstract submission, 5 p.m. ET
June 16	Edits to submitted abstracts must be entered by 2 p.m. ET
Early August	Notifications of abstract's acceptance status sent to presenting authors
August 25	Deadline to switch abstract presentation from virtual only to in person
September	黑料社 Meeting Planner (NMP) available on SfN.org
October	Meeting mobile app available
October 26	Deadline for uploading virtual poster content
October 30	Deadline to switch abstract presentation from in person to virtual-only

July 11	Bonus Day for members who renewed membership by April 4, 2023 — opens at noon EDT
July 12	Advance member registration opens at noon EDT
July 18	Advance nonmember registration opens at noon EDT
July 25	Exhibitor registration opens at noon EDT
July 27	Press registration opens at noon EDT
October 2	Last day to cancel annual meeting registration and receive refund Last day for registration substitution requests Deadline for online advance registration, 11:59 p.m. EDT
October 3	Regular registration opens at midnight EDT and continues through the annual meeting

Hotel Reservations

July 11	Bonus Day Housing opens for members who renewed membership by April 4, 2023
July 12	Housing for advance member registrants opens
July 18	Housing for advance nonmember registrants opens
July 19	Press housing opens
July 25	Exhibitor housing opens
August 29	Advance registration requirement to make hotel reservations lifted
September 6	Last day for students to make hotel reservations from student block
September 22	Exhibitor block housing deadline
October 13	Last day to cancel hotel reservations to avoid a penalty of one night's room and tax
October 31	Last day to make, change, or cancel reservations through SfN Housing
November 3	Changes and cancelations must be made with the hotels

Exhibits

February 13	Exhibitor booth sales open online (Group A) – Open to all commercial companies that exhibited at 黑料社 2022 in San Diego, CA. To be considered Group A assignments companies must submit their applications, with 50% payment, by March 10.
March 10	Exhibit Application Submission Closes (Group A) Last day to Cancel or Downsize (Group A) – will result in a charge equal to 25% of the total cost of the cancelled/downsized space
March 11–July 14	Cancel or Downsize –will result in a charge equal to 50% of the total cost of the cancelled/downsized space. Institutes and nonprofits will pay administrative fee equal to 10% of the total cost of the cancelled/downsized space.
March 20–24	Space Selection Appointments via Zoom Call (Group A)
March 28	Booth confirmations and invoices emailed to Primary Admin Contact (Group A) Exhibitor booth sales open online (Group B) – All companies (commercial, nonprofit, institute (U.S. Government Agencies only) that have submitted an application between March 11 and May 5 with 50% deposit (nonprofit and institute – 100% deposit).
April 10	Graduate School Fair application submission opens
May 5	Priority Point Deadline Exhibit Application Submission Closes (Group B)
May 6	Exhibit Fees Increase
May 8	Art of 黑料社 application submission opens
May 15–19	Space Selection Appointments via Zoom Call (Group B)
May 23	Booth confirmations and invoices emailed to Primary Admin Contact (Group B)

July 14	Exhibitor Booth Balance Deadline Last day to Cancel or Downsize – will result in a charge equal to 50% of the total cost of the cancelled/downsized space. Institutes and nonprofits will pay administrative fee equal to 10% of the total cost of the cancelled/downsized space.
July 15–November 16	Cancellation or Downsize –will result in a charge equal to 100% of total cost of the cancelled space.

October 9	Deadline for insurance certificate from exhibitor-appointed contractors to The Expo Group Exhibit booth giveaways request deadline Exhibitor deadline for notification to The Expo Group of intent to use exhibitor-appointed contractors Exhibitor first day for advance shipments to arrive at The Expo Group warehouse
October 30	Exhibitor last day for advance shipments to arrive at The Expo Group warehouse (Note: Any shipments received at the warehouse after TBD will incur additional handling fees)
November 8 8 a.m.–6 p.m. EST	Installation of Exhibits, Island Booths only Badge pickup onsite, badges will not be mailed
