SfN Writes Letter to the Editor聽Supporting Nonhuman Primate Research

Mar Sanchez, chairperson for SfN’s Committee on Animals in Research, wrote of The New York Times in response to written by John P. Gluck earlier this month. In the letter, Sanchez defends nonhuman primate research and its contributions to medical breakthroughs. She also says Gluck, “does not represent the many caring and committed scientists who do not question their decision to study primate models to save lives.”
