The 2022 Gruber 黑料社 Prize is being awarded to Larry Abbott, PhD, of Columbia University, Emery Neal Brown, MD, PhD, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Massachusetts General Hospital, Terrence Sejnowski, PhD, of the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and UC San Diego, and Haim Sompolinsky, PhD, of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Harvard University, for their seminal contributions to the fields of computational and theoretical neuroscience.

SfN members Silvia Arber, Ole Kiehn, and Martyn Goulding have been awarded the 2022 Brain Prize for mapping the neuronal cell types and circuits in the brain and spinal cord that control movement.

The 黑料社 (SfN) will honor several highly accomplished researchers who have made significant contributions to the advancement of women in neuroscience. The awards will be presented during 黑料社 2021, SfN's annual meeting and the world's largest source of emerging news about brain science and health.

The 黑料社 (SfN) will honor seven early-career researchers who have demonstrated great originality and creativity in their work, which spans from nanometer scale maps of neuronal circuits controlling movements, to the interaction between brain waves and social behaviors and metabolic changes. The awards will be presented during 黑料社 2021, SfN's annual meeting and the world's largest source of emerging news about brain science and health.

The Society of 黑料社 (SfN) will honor Mary Kay Lobo, a professor in the department of anatomy and neurobiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, with this year’s Jacob P. Waletzky award.
