- Late August: Presenting authors notified of abstract acceptance status

Details for Late-Breaking Abstracts
- Posters only (in person, virtual only, or both)
- Scientific themes A-I only
- Submissions should report timely, exciting research and will be held to a higher standard of review than regular SfN abstracts
- No extensions to submission deadline and no editing period — abstracts (including ) must be final by August 1, 5 p.m. EDT
- Grouped by theme in the Late-Breaking Abstracts Posters section on the poster floor
- Submissions are subject to SfN’s nonrefundable $165 abstract submission fee
