Air Travel
Chicago is accessible by two major airports. Transportation options, approximate travel times, and approximate fares to and from the airports are listed. Fares are subject to change.

Chicago O'Hare International Airport
is served by 43 commercial airlines and is located 17 miles from downtown Chicago and McCormick Place. Chicago O'Hare Airport is the best option for international travel.
- Time/Distance: Approximate 40-minute drive (17 miles) to downtown Chicago and McCormick Place.
- Taxis: Taxis are available at the lower levels (outside of baggage claim) at each terminal. Fares are based on traffic conditions, but an average fare is $40-$50.
- Subway: The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Chicago’s light rail system, known as the “L”, provides service throughout the city including to and from Chicago O'Hare Airport. The Cermak - McCormick station (on the Green line) is currently the closest CTA stop to McCormick Place.

Midway International Airport
is served by 8 commercial airlines and is located 11 miles from downtown Chicago and McCormick Place. Midway Airport is the best option for domestic travel.
- Time/Distance: Approximate 20-minute drive (11 miles) to downtown Chicago and McCormick Place.
- Taxis: Taxis are available at the lower levels (outside of baggage claim) at each terminal. Fares are based on traffic conditions, but an average fare is $28-$30.
- Subway: The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Chicago’s light rail system, known as the “L”, provides service throughout the city including to and from Midway Airport. The Cermak - McCormick Place station (on the Green line) is currently the closest CTA stop to McCormick Place.

Ground Transportation

Metra, Chicago's commuter train system, runs from downtown Chicago and stops directly inside of the McCormick Place Convention Center. Located on Level 2.5 of the Grand Concourse in the South Building, Metra provides direct services within seven minutes to and from downtown Chicago.

Taxis
More than 5,800 city taxis are in service in Chicago. A taxi dispatch center is located in McCormick Place to ensure cabs are readily available to meet demand.

Parking
Events held in the North and South Buildings designate as the primary parking location. Lot A is a six-level garage located on Martin Luther King Drive, adjacent to the West Building. Covered walkways from Lot A leading directly into McCormick Place and the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel provide added convenience. The parking rate is $26 for up to 16 hours and $39 from 16 to 24 hours. There are no in-and-out privileges. Overnight parking is available in Lot A only. Lost tickets will pay the $39 (overnight) fee per day. Credit cards are accepted at the parking ticket kiosks.

Shuttle Schedule
SfN provides complimentary shuttle services between McCormick Place and most of the official SfN meeting hotels, with the exception of hotels within walking distance to McCormick Place. Shuttle stops and schedule will be available later this year.
